The first thought that comes to mind is…I will put up a sign on the window and publish it along with some photos (yes, that`s right, like the blurry ones in nasty apps) and sell it straight away.

That is just like having to do some repairs in the house and going to the cheapest store to get what you need, then trying to do it and finally getting a professional to sort out the mess that you have made, a waste of time and money…buy cheap buy twice.

Then you put up the sign and publish the add and start getting calls, using up the battery of your mobile phone by mid-morning. Everybody is really interested in your house and want to go and have a look at it.

You run around the house making sure everything looks perfect, the cushions, the plaid on the sofa (like in a mag), fresh and clean: you find the little time you have is used to greet the “buyers”, and when they leave…silence…never hear from them again. That day in, day out.

You start thinking about lowering the price but then again, you don`t want to end up selling too low…
